We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Judaic Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a deep connection to Torah, Jewish values, and traditions while serving as a positive role model and fostering an engaging, supportive classroom environment.

• Teach Judaic Studies with a primary focus on Torah, utilizing a curriculum provided by the school.
• Foster a love for Torah learning while encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and personal growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure inclusive learning.
• Create a respectful and engaging classroom environment rooted in Jewish values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote an integrated and meaningful educational experience.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, embodying BMA’s values of warmth, respect, and humility.
• Communicate with parents to support student progress and success.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Judaic Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Classroom teaching experience preferred, especially in Jewish day school settings.
• Knowledge of Jewish traditions, Torah, and texts, with a passion for Modern Orthodox values and Torah Umadda.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
• Commitment to serving as a role model for students in personal behavior, dress, and attitude.
