Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Upper Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering a positive and productive learning environment for students in upper elementary. This position requires previous teaching experience, excellent classroom management skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with school standards and curriculum.
Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
Manage classroom behavior effectively using Responsive Classroom and clear expectations.
Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-related activities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required).
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in an elementary school setting.
Proven ability to manage a classroom and implement effective behavior management strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- This is a fulltime position. 7:45 am - 3:45 pm, 10 month position
- Starting date: Immediately
