Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Analyst to play a critical role in our financial operations team with key responsibilities focused on accounts payable. This position goes beyond just traditional accounts payable duties, encompassing cash flow strategy, vendor relationship management, and process optimization. As a key player in our financial planning initiatives, you will ensure the seamless execution of payment processes while contributing to the company’s overall financial health and strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and support all accounts payable duties and responsibilities
- Review, match, code invoices and check requests using Quickbooks software
- Manage vendor onboarding, payments, terms, credit limits and monitor discount opportunities
- Support capital expenditure and cash flow planning by keeping detailed schedule of upcoming payment dates
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage online banking activities, including setting up payment templates, initiating payments and transfers when required
- Prepare mailing or other distribution of payments as required
- Audit and process employee expense reports through Concur web-based portal
- Assist with month end close and provide supporting documentation for year-end audit
- Lead annual preparation and filing of annual form 1099’s
- Assist the Controller with additional projects and ad hoc reports as needed

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and respond to important correspondence within 24 hours
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- 2-5 years of experience in Accounting
- Manufacturing or roofing related experience a plus
