Title: Mold Set Technician (Weekend)

Job Summary: The mold set technician position is responsible for many aspects of a production run from machine changeover, start-up and shutdown, and production monitoring. They are expected to be a team player who demonstrates the core competencies required for the role that provides opportunity for individuals growth and career advancement.

Qualities & Responsibilities:

• Self-starter with a good attitude, abides by all Brava’s Safety & Quality policies and procedures.
• Organizational skills able to (Label & Document) mold location, mold repair status
• Generate work order requests for tooling, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance of tooling.
• Drilling & tapping capabilities, thread cleaning.
• Entry level maintenance and preventative maintenance work & repairs Ex: Fix and replace water lines, clean screens etc., sand blast molds, acid flush water lines, flow test water circuits.
• Ability to communicate with maintenance and production to complete tasks.
• Ability to work safely-follow safe work practices with heavy molds etc.
• Ability to enter all process parameters on presses.
• Assist in mold sampling and ECO.
• Entry level processing knowledge
• Continuous improvement of mold change procedures
• Able to operate Mobile Die Cart
• Able to operate fork truck & skyjack.
• Housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned.

Blenders:

• Calibrate
• Make program/batch setting changes.
• Adjust and set proximity sensors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Education and Experience:

• Ability to operate on manufacturing floor as applicable 80% of work time.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplined role.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Basic computer skills

Requirements:

• Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, during daily routine, with the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have previous relatable mechanical experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday
• 1 opening for 6pm-6am

Pay:

• Starting $19.00-$24.00
• $3.00/hr. weekend premium
