Our recruiting firm represents a privately-held AI-powered design tool that is trusted by over 3 million users across 200 countries and has earned a 4.7 rating from its customers on Product Hunt.

This 25-employee, Series A firm ($12 million in total funding), which has earned the trust of fast-growth companies like Ogilvy, HubSpot, Netflix, Asana, and Airbus, is seeking a Founding Account Executive to sell subscription deals to CMOs, graphic design leaders, illustrators, and other creative leaders within a diverse set of companies. This role is based in our NYC office.

Our client has built an AI-powered design tool that enables companies to create high-quality vector illustrations, icons, and 3D assets instantly.


It offers real-time editing, style customization, and scalable output, making it ideal for branding, marketing, and UI/UX design. Businesses use our tool to streamline creative workflows, generate unique visuals without hiring designers, and maintain brand consistency. With AI-driven automation, teams can rapidly produce professional graphics, enhancing efficiency and visual appeal across digital and print media.

Role

* Individual contributor role, reporting to the CEO and working from our Manhattan office.

* $145k to $180k base salary, commensurate with previous success and earnings. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is double your base.

* Uncapped compensation plan with accelerators; company equity; modern tools; unlimited PTO; flexible schedule.

* Above all else, we are looking for hungry closers who want to clock their largest W-2 ever in 2025 – and then go up from there.

* You have been a founding salesperson, or a very early salesperson at a fast-growth startup. Selling a PLG-driven solution is a must.

* You’re selling to agencies, CMOs, and other creative leaders, so experience in this ecosystem is preferred.

We are looking for a Founding Account Executive to play a pivotal role in building and expanding our Enterprise customer base.


Job Description

We are growing rapidly, we're looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to help us scale our enterprise pipeline & sales effort. As an early member of the GTM team, you will help influence our messaging, collateral, and playbook. You will play a critical role in defining our sales strategy, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline & deal management: You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, targeting Fortune 100s and other enterprises. While we have a healthy inbound pipeline, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic outbound prospecting initiatives to drive new business opportunities.
  • Customer centricity: You will take a solution-selling approach, conducting deep discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, positioning our value proposition accordingly via pitches and demos. You will own building relationships with key stakeholders, including design teams, IT, procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Market feedback: You will collaborate with Product & Engineering to provide market feedback to help shape our AI’s enterprise offerings and product roadmap.‍
  • Build: You will influence our GTM by working closely with leadership to establish scalable sales processes, refine messaging, and build foundational sales operations.


Requirements

  • Experience: You have a demonstrated track record of selling B2B software to Enterprises and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota. Selling design software, experience with ML/AI, and familiarity with a product-led sales motion is a plus.
  • Solution selling: You have a consultative, value-based sales approach and thrive in complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Hunter mentality: You’re proactive, self-motivated, and skilled at generating pipeline through outbound efforts.
  • Owner mindset: You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where adaptability, problem-solving, and initiative are key.
  • Thrive in ambiguity: You have the ability to build and refine sales playbooks, processes, and tools to drive efficiency and repeatability.‍
  • Excellent communicator: You have excellent written, verbal, and visual communication and negotiation skills.
