Collaborating Physician (Psychiatry) Job DescriptionMUST BE LICENSED IN MISSOURIWe are looking for a physician to act as a Collaborative Physician for PA / NPs providing psychiatric medication management to clients. The charts reviewed under this subdivision may be counted in the number of charts required to be reviewed in the above total.On-Site Requirement : Determine and document the completion of at least a one-month period of time during which the advanced practice registered nurse shall practice with the collaborating physician continuously present before practicing in a setting where the collaborating physician is not continuously present.Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay : From $500-$1000 monthly for every PA / NP you are collaborating with dependent on their caseload, negotiableSchedule : 1 hour meeting with PA / NP per weekOn call as needed during practice hours Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM with a minimum of 15 hours of those held during “peak hours” (defined as Monday through Friday between 4 pm to 9 pm or Weekends).Qualifications : Doctoral Degree in psychiatry : MD or DO and BC / BE in psychiatryActive, unrestricted license in the State of Missouri (must be fully licensed).DEA certifiedBoard CertifiedOther Qualification Preferences : Proven experience as a psychiatristSupportive of physician assistant(s) and / or nurse practitioner(s)Experience and enjoyment in supervising PAs and NPs in collaborative agreementIn-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practicesRespect for patient’s confidentialityCompassionate and approachableResponsible and trustworthyPrior experience in a private practice settingHave training and experience working with Neurodivergence / ADHD, PTSD / Trauma, Anxiety & Panic, Depression / Bipolar & Mood Disorders, and Women’s IssuesPracticing in Columbia, MO or within 30 miles of Columbia, MO#J-18808-Ljbffr
