Job Overview:
A leading construction company in Hollywood, Florida, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, data entry, and construction billing processes, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with subcontractors, suppliers, office personnel, management, field staff, and customers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized, detailed records of all contract-related documents.
- Create and distribute subcontracts, change orders, and related documentation as directed, ensuring compliance with company protocols and contract requirements.
- Research and understand the requirements of awarded contracts and prepare necessary supporting documents, such as certified payroll reporting requirements, wage determinations, and subcontractor flow-down documents.
- Track and process subcontract-related documents, including certified payroll reports and lien waivers, while ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- Support project teams and management with administrative tasks related to contracts and construction documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all subcontracts, change orders, and supporting documents in compliance with company standards.
- Prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working within the construction industry (mechanical experience is not required).
- Familiarity with construction billings, lien waivers, certified payroll, and other construction documents.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience).
