About the Role :
A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to join their team in Houston, TX . The ideal candidate will be at an intermediate to advanced level , with a strong Revit background and experience in commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects.
This is a local position offering a competitive salary of $110K-$115K base with opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create, modify, and validate detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings .
- Develop field installation drawings and product drawings for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure efficient detailing and installation practices.
- Manage BIM deliverables and workflow for assigned projects.
- Identify and communicate potential installation clashes with other trades.
- Support project tracking systems and provide feedback to supervisors for improved efficiency.
- Work across various sectors, including commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, and industrial projects.
- Assist in creating record drawings at the end of the project .
Qualifications & Skills :
Intermediate to advanced experience as a BIM Technician.
Strong Revit skills required.
Experience with commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects.
Understanding of construction blueprints and submittals .
Ability to collaborate with field teams and project leads .
