Position Overview :
The Electrical Foreman will lead and manage job crews, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial electrician with strong leadership abilities, a deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and a passion for mentoring and motivating teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily work activities of job crew employees.
- Motivate and provide feedback to team members while enforcing company policies.
- Oversee hiring, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of project plans, specifications, and contract scope.
- Attend and contribute to coordination meetings, providing necessary updates.
- Monitor and document project progress using mobile apps and reporting tools.
- Generate RFIs, memos, and other communications to ensure project accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage materials and tools, ensuring proper orders and inventory control.
- Perform physical and technical tasks, including :
- Bending and installing rigid conduit.
- Setting up and pulling wire and cable.
- Terminating power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
- Installing electrical gear, PLCs, and AC / DC drives.
- Troubleshooting motors, control systems, and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
