Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and clean.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other amenities as needed.
- Clean common areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred, particularly in a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled shifts.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
