Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various woodworking tasks and a strong understanding of construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial spaces, where craftsmanship and attention to detail are essential. The Woodworker will be responsible for creating, restoring, and installing wooden structures and components to meet client specifications.
Duties
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials for various projects.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings and baseboards.
- Execute frame carpentry duties such as building frameworks for structures.
- Install cabinets, doors, and other wooden fixtures with precision.
- Conduct restoration work on existing wooden structures, ensuring quality finishes.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Participate in construction painting as needed to enhance the final appearance of woodwork.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating tools and working on construction sites.
- Assist in mold remediation efforts when necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in woodworking or carpentry is essential.
- Familiarity with siding installation techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow project specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of construction site practices and safety regulations.
