Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete pouring.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning as needed.
- Help with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or other temporary structures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
