Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble, and finish wooden products according to specifications.
- Operate machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders to shape wood materials.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for precise cutting, shaping, and joining of wood pieces.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Experience
- Proven experience in woodworking or carpentry is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Familiarity with machining processes and millwork techniques.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to sew or operate a sewing machine is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools essential for woodworking tasks.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
