Duties
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, using fresh ingredients.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Utilize knife skills effectively for precise cutting and presentation of sushi ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi-related ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and best practices.
- Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience by sharing knowledge about sushi dishes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the culinary field.
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including meal preparation and kitchen management.

- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
