Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience working with ASD population.
- At least 1 year experience with the DIR/Floortime approach and designing sensory diets.
- Occupational Therapist License in New Jersey/OTR.
- 1 to 2 years of Pediatric experience.
- Effective and efficient problem solver.
- Positive tone in interactions with staff.
- Exhibits responsibility and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates organization and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates an initiative to learn in order to meet goals and/or targets.
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as requested.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on infants, children, and adolescents. Analyze, interpret, and document evaluation results.
- Develop Treatment Plans with short and long term goals.
- Plan and provide individual and/or group therapy according to the individual needs and goals.
- Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a client's daily living environment.
- Make appropriate referrals for additional services.
- Supervise other Occupational Therapists and/or COTAs, graduate students, and volunteers, as assigned.
- Participate in in-service training and/or parent education programs as appropriate.
