Job Description  

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Healthcare IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both healthcare and information technology, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and standards. The Healthcare IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that support our healthcare operations. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring that all project objectives are met. The successful candidate will be adept at problem-solving, able to navigate the complexities of healthcare IT systems, and committed to improving patient care through innovative technology solutions. Responsibilities 

  •  Lead and manage healthcare IT projects from initiation to closure.
  •  Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  •  Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  •  Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
  •  Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  •  Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  •  Identify and mitigate project risks.
  •  Manage project resources, including team members and vendors.
  •  Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates.
  •  Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
  •  Facilitate change management processes.
  •  Develop and implement project management best practices.
  •  Ensure quality assurance and testing processes are followed.
  •  Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  •  Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  •  Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  •  Maintain a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  •  Collaborate with IT and healthcare professionals to develop innovative solutions.
  •  Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  •  Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.

Requirements 

  •  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  •  PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
  •  Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  •  Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  •  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  •  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  •  Strong leadership and team management skills.
  •  Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  •  Knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure and applications.
  •  Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  •  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  •  Commitment to improving patient care through technology.
  •  Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  •  Ability to travel as needed for project requirements.
