Bravera Bank is hiring for a Loan Servicing Assistant in Bismarck/Mandan or Dickinson, ND. The Loan Servicing Assistant is primarily responsible for loan servicing responsibilities in the business and agricultural banking department. This will include balancing of designated accounts, maintaining workflow and collateral tracking and processing of payments, and providing support to other loan administration staff if needed.

- Understanding of bank loan policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconciling G/L-Loan Settlement, Loan Unposted, Loan Participation Payable, CLA Closing Account, Letters of Credit.
- Post-funding loan review pertaining to approvals, loan docs and booking of loans.
- Monitoring collateral tracking system–all aspects of UCC processing including reconciling of UCC credit card, obtain current insurance policies and monitoring payment of real estate taxes.
- Process payments made online and payments dropped into loan settlement for Commercial and Ag loan customers.
- Serve as backup for review of Sold Participation loan advances/payments for accuracy and request/send funds from/to the Participant banks.
- Monitoring assigned reports for exceptions.
- Dissemination of reports to officers and loan assistants regarding their customer lists.
- Perform monthly reconcilements of internal CLA Checking Accounts.
- Must be a self-starter, readily accept responsibility and work assignments. Must be accurate, have the ability to prioritize and efficiently organize work assignments, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to learn new job tasks and offer suggestions on how to improve overall performance with existing job tasks/assignments.
- Contribute to the overall success of the department and organization by promoting teamwork and also participating in bank committees and community events.
- Responsible to understand and adhere to bank policies, procedures and state/federal regulations through continued education and training. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent with a two-year associate degree required; a four-year degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years bank experience or previous administrative experience.
- Skills/certifications: Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
