Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Site Superintendent located in Lebanon, IN. The Site Superintendent will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain a safe working environment.


Role Summary:

The Low Voltage Project Superintendent (Superintendent) supports the clients Project Executive to maintain compliance of installations in accordance with the project documents and applicable building codes. Their duties include implementing the project’s quality control program, reviewing submittals, inspecting installations, and writing reports documenting construction issues. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal capacities and must with strong follow through for assigned tasks. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of Bravia Servies.


Experience & Education:

•     Experience in Information low voltage installations (Building Automation experience Preferred)

•     5 years of project supervision experience – Industrial experience preferred

•     OSHA 10-hour certification (or greater)

•     Bachelor’s degree in construction management, IT or related field

•     In lieu of the above education requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered


Working Environment:

•     Valid and unrestricted driver’s license

•     Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

•     May require periods of travel and/or relocation

•     Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs

•     May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold)

•     Assignment location may include project sites and/or in the office

•     Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen, Standing, Walking

•     Occasional activity: Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling


Key Role Responsibilities:

•     Supports all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.

•     Manage and direct electrical subcontractors to perform low voltage installations.

•     Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and project requirements.

•     Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the project.

•     Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all trade personnel.

•     Managing inspection, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations.

•     Oversee supervision of all visual inspections including 3rd party subcontractors.

•     Identify and develop solutions to correct installation deficiencies.

•     Manage construction processes, inspections, work lists and punchlist development and completion.

•     Assist the project team with closeout of the project.

•     Assist project team with assigned tasks.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•     Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner

•     Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organization departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities

•     Strong coordination and organization skills, with strict emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail

•     Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and other applicable software programs

•     General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures

•     Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications

•     Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines

•     Self-motivated and proactive - Can accomplish tasks without direct oversight

•     Ability to learn and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
