What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wine & Liquor Sales Representative position at Bravo Distributing LLC?
We are seeking a self sufficient, goal oriented individual who enjoys selling and dealing with people. You will be selling on the road Monday through Thursday, and attend our Sales Meeting on Friday. You will be presenting, tasting, selling and promoting our exclusive line of wines and liquors to wine & liquor shops, restaurants and bars throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Although there is an existing route, you must be able to expand the number of products in the existing accounts and open new accounts. We will support you in every way possible with training, sales materials and samples, but at the end it is in your hands how successful you will be. In sales, what you put in is what you get out. Hard work and education really is the magic formula for sales success. You need to be positive, self motivated, and able to overcome objections.
Compensation includes a base salary, commissions, bonuses, sales incentives, travel reimbursement.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with wine and/or liquor to some capacity.
- You must maintain or exceed a minimum of 15% growth over last year's numbers within the accounts provided.
- You will be required to place new products in each account on a regular basis.
- You will be expected to perform in-store tastings.
- Merchandising is required for each product in each account. (Point of sale materials are provided)
- You must attend all weekly sales meetings held every Friday at our home office/warehouse in Brooklyn.
