Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction management principles and a passion for project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with senior project managers to develop project schedules and track progress.
- Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Participate in regular project meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.
Experience
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Experience in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for understanding project requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Previous experience on a construction site is a plus but not mandatory; internships or relevant coursework will be considered.
