Support Specialist (Hybrid β Chicago Area)
$18β$26/hr | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Weekends Required
Bravo! is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Support Specialist to join our white-labeled outsourced support team. This hybrid role provides support for customers using Point of Sale (POS) systems, payment systems, and other Bravo!-supported products in fast-paced environments. The position combines remote work with commuting to our Winfield, IL office and on-site client visits within the Chicago area as needed.
π§ Responsibilities
- Provide support for customers using Point of Sale systems, payment systems, and other Bravo!-supported products
- Install, configure, and support POS systems and payment platforms at client locations
- Perform basic IT troubleshooting (e.g., network issues, hardware diagnostics, connectivity problems)
- Respond to customer issues via phone and email in accordance with service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Train restaurant staff on system features relevant to their roles
- Assist with third-party integrations and understand associated costs
- Stay informed on software updates, hardware requirements, and industry trends
- Deliver a smooth, professional customer experience in every interaction
- Become a Product Owner in one or more products supported by Bravo!
π Location Requirements
- Must reside in or near Chicago, IL
- This is a hybrid position requiring regular commuting to our Winfield, IL office and on-site client visits within the Chicago area
- Must have reliable transportation for travel to the office and client sites
π Schedule & Compensation
- Day Shift (Standard Hours): $18β$22/hr
- Night Shift (Evening/Overnight): $22β$26/hr
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Weekends are required
β Ideal Cadidate
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
- Ability to multitask proficiently
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in startup-style environments
- Fluent in English. Bilingual (preferred)
