JOB DESCRIPTION
Commissions Analyst I
We are looking for a well-organized, self-starting commission analyst to join and be a critical part of our client services team. The ideal candidate is detail and service oriented with accounting and math skills. Essential tasks include preparing and processing commissions for payment. If you have strong analytical skills, are exceptionally well organized and accurate, detail oriented with great communication skills and would enjoy working as part of a great team, we would love to hear from you.
Position Responsibilities:
- Commissions preparation and processing
- Production Reporting and analytics
- Commission Discrepancy Resolution
- Field and answer questions relating to commissions and contracts
- Maintain payout grids and contracts
- Licensing and Contracting Research
- Liaison between advisors, relationship managers, and other team members.
- Research and understand the commission structure and processes for multiple insurance carriers and products
- Document and communicating carrier commission processes to team members and agents
- Gather and reviewing monthly commission statements for multiple insurance carriers
- Resolve agent commission discrepancies and urgent commission needs
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Preferably: Finance/Business Administration/Mathematics//Accounting)
- 2 to 4 years of of analytical experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Must be able to multi-task, possess quick-thinking abilities and excellent attention to detail
