Bravotech a Leader in Staff Augmentation and perm placement is currenting seeking a talented Network Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in F5 Hardware, Firewalls, Cisco FTD, FMC, GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing), along with overall experience in route switching.
F5 Hardware experience and GSLB (Global server load balancing) experience with info block and route switching. This perm role will pay hourly and will be hybrid in San Antonio, Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years of F5 Hardware hands-on experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in administering and configuring Cisco FTD and FMC devices.
- Familiarity with Cisco ASA is a plus, but FTD/FMC expertise is a must-have for consideration.
- Advanced-level expertise in routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, iBGP, and OSPF.
Responsible for systems integration, design and tier III technical support for network systems and technology platforms. Day to day activities include network provisioning, performance tuning, adding networks, scripting for automating of tasks, assigning ports, error tracking, data movement, software configurations, product evaluation, assigned projects and addressing interoperability issues. The position also works as part of a cross-functional team that deals with the full spectrum of technology and will fulfill the role of third level support for network technologies, providing training and direction to other technical staff that perform the bulk of the first and second level support tasks. 7 years of experience in network engineering, including design, implementation, and support of large-scale LAN, WLAN, and WAN systems. Data Center experience.
Preferred Experience with the Following Technologies:
- Routers and Switches: Aruba/Cisco technologies.
- Security Tools: Firewalls, IPS, and related technologies.
- Load Balancing and Optimization: F5 hardware/software and WAN Optimizers
- SD-WAN Solutions: Experience with deployment and management.
