About the Job
We are looking for a Design Director / Director of Design that is obsessive about the details, enjoys leading and mentoring people, wants to create work that gets seen and loves advertising (because we do!). We have clients that aspire to do great work, and so do we.
Creative Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the visual direction for campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and client goals
- Push boundaries while delivering designs that make an impact and wow clients
- Partner with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to ensure seamless integration of ideas and a cohesive narrative across all creative materials
Team Management & Mentorship
- Guide and grow a talented design team
- Provide feedback, manage workflows, and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables
- Champion best practices and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Develop best practices for Bray & Co. and drive them through client work
Client Collaboration & Presentation
- Be the voice of the design team with clients
- Understand their needs, anticipate their requests, and present innovative solutions
- Refine designs based on feedback to ensure client satisfaction and excitement
Quality Control & Execution
- Ensure design excellence with all deliverables
- Uphold brand consistency and maintain a sharp eye for detail—quality control is your priority
- Research/operationalize methods to maintain high-quality work and instill the same in others
About Your Background
- Progressively responsible experience in ad agency design teams with management responsibility
- A portfolio that demonstrates executing flawlessly across various media channels
- Experience presenting and selling creative concepts to clients in a way that excites and motivates them
- Hawkeye detail orientation, the ability to detect errors quickly in one's own and others’ work
Where You Will Work?
This is a hybrid role, 4 days a week in our new office in Soho NYC, right on Broadway.

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
