Assembly Supervisor responsibilities:
- Assign and communicate workload to all warehouse employees
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees
- Maintain inventory by conducting daily cycle counts, inventory movement and organization.
- Properly document all inventory transactions in ERP software
- Work on reducing/eliminating costly receiving, and warehouse mistakes
- Prioritizing warehouse tasks in order to work ahead.
- Handle incoming non-conforming products as well as off the shelf.
- Work with different departments to meet customer requirements.
- Overall warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Report and present daily KPI’s.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and core competencies:
- High School diploma required
- Forklift experience
- At least 2 years’ experience as warehouse supervisor or similar experience
- Ability to operate computers to print orders and tags
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work nighttime shift plus overtime as needed during the week and/or on Saturdays
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
