As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service to clients in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities for automation and control valve solutions within assigned regions or industries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor offerings, and market trends.
- Present and demonstrate automation and valve solutions to clients, tailoring offerings to meet specific application requirements.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Product Knowledge and Technical Support:
- Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including control valves, actuators, sensors, and other automation solutions.
- Provide technical support to customers by recommending the most suitable products based on their application needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical inquiries and provide solutions for complex customer requirements.
- Sales Proposals and Negotiation:
- Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to customers.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and contracts to close sales effectively.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all leads, quotations, and projects to close sales.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing outstanding customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Assist with post-sale support, ensuring smooth product installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer needs, assess performance, and gather feedback.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in automation, control systems, or valve technology.
- Experience in selling to industries such as oil and gas, power generation, water treatment, or chemical processing is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of automation products and control valves (e.g., globe valves, ball valves, actuators, positioners, control systems).
- Familiarity with valve selection, valve sizing, and process control applications.
- Industrial process automation is a plus.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer relationships simultaneously.

- Travel: Ability to travel locally, including areas such as Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
