Maintenance Technician Role Summary:
The Maintenance Technician for our Machine/Facilities Maintenance Dept. to assist with routine and preventive needs within our Manufacturing and service shops. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a good knowledge of basic Electric and able to work independently or assist in team projects. Accountability and reliability are a must in this role.
The schedule for a Maintenance Technician will generally be 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday. Some flexibility is required.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of Maintenance duties, such as Electrical maintenance, mechanical repairs, and general building repairs
- Operating and possible minor repairs of machinery in a safe and appropriate manner
- Maintaining of all equipment both on and off the grounds
- Day-to-day general maintenance duties as assigned
- Interior maintenance may also be requested (patching walls, painting, staining, etc.)
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- 5 years' experience in Electrical, Plumbing, and/or Carpentry
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills required in order to use a laptop and a smart phone for diagnostic tools, service manual reviews, and completion of work orders/time entry
- Positive attitude to work in conjunction with our team in a dynamic paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle more than one task at any given time while possible interruptions may occur during the day
- Works both indoors and outdoors
- Wears appropriate protective clothing and equipment including gloves, safety glasses and ear protection when necessary

Safety Sensitive Position:
