ABOUT THE QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN JOB
As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform quality control testing on our project. We are looking for a candidate that has effective communication skills and has the ability to work closely with our Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers on a daily basis to plan and document the work that is being performed.
QC Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively involved in project safety programs
- Assists Project QC Staff and Project Supervision
- Create and review submittals
- Perform grout testing and inspection
- Document anchor installation and perform related acceptance testing
- Performs quality control testing and reporting
- Works toward obtaining ACI testing certifications
- Effectively communicates with the project owner(s)
- Represent the company with the owner's inspectors
QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a positive and dedicated attitude to work with our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction industry
- Completion of at least one internship with a heavy civil, foundation, or steel erection contractor or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the inspection and testing of various construction disciplines like concrete, soils, welding, foundation grouting, or anchor installation required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills are essential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to new challenges
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.

Safety
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects, and in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, around high voltage, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
