Job Description:
Assists and relieves lawyers and other legal personnel of administrative and clerical work by performing duties to include the following:
· Preparing, filing and serving final legal papers and correspondence of legal nature such as motions, oppositions, depositions, subpoenas and discovery from draft text.
· Manages calendar and assists in meeting deadlines.
· Coordinates meetings.
· Performs other clerical duties such as composing and typing routine correspondence, scheduling court hearings, arranging service of process and arranging depositions.
· Filing correspondence and legal documents in office filing system.
· Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum 2 years previous experience.
· Great communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn how to use various programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
