Salon Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our stylists and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Duties

• Assist stylists with various tasks, including hair threading, makeup application, and other beauty services.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming clients, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries using MINDBODY software.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the salon.
• Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
• Support stylists during services by preparing necessary tools and products.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon.

Experience

• Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cosmetology practices is a plus.
• Skills in hair threading, straight razor techniques, customer service, and upselling are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No weekends
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
