3rd Shift: 11 pm- 7 am
BASIC PURPOSE
Support the manufacturing department by performing a variety of routine or standard braze and annealing inspection operations.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience are preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to read and interpret measuring devices (calipers, rulers, etc.). Ability to apply common sense; understand detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to manage problems involving standardized situations; ability to work overtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform brazing operations of a semiskilled nature to build assemblies.
- Prepares, organizes, and controls the flow of material from the end of the furnace.
- Follows operational sequence as specified by verbal, written, and visual aids.
- Inspect brazed and annealed products as instructed to maintain customer and Bluewater specifications.
- Operate mechanical or electrical machinery in the completion of processes.
- Substitutes for any other line position as needed.
- Uses hand tools and/ or inspection test equipment.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Detects and reports problems with safety, quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor.
- Prepares routine documentation accurately.
- Compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems.
- Provides handson job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintains a positive teamwork attitude.
- Positively reacts to change productively and manages other essential tasks as assigned.
LANGUAGE AND REASONING SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other organization associates in one-on-one and small-group situations.
