Job Summary
Brazos Commercial Roofing is looking for an ambitious, results-driven, and career-oriented commercial sales representative to actively seek out and engage potential commercial roofing clients in the Houston and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial roofing sales. The primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities, maintain existing client relationships, and provide accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects. Experienced in all types of commercial roof systems in the Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Multi-Family Industries.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a commercial sales representative
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials (Coatings, BUR, Modified, TPO, PVC, EPDM, Metal and Waterproofing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client’s needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Must be comfortable getting on the roof to inspect, climb ladders, and work at different heights
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling, as well as generating their leads through in-person interactions
  • Positive attitude, Analytical in nature, Self-motivated, Ambitious, and a Team player
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when needed

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details using CRM Software
  • Manage individual sales pipeline and make appropriate follow-ups on pending opportunities
  • Present commercial roofing solutions to clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and objectives effectively
  • Collaborate with project managers to accurately assess project requirements and prepare competitive bids and proposals
  • Establish, nurture, and grow direct customer relationships (owners, asset managers, property managers, facility managers, building engineers, architects, roof consultants)
  • Ensure that all jobs are invoiced correctly and provide all necessary billing information to the accounting department
  • Reach out to customer leads through pipeline development, cold calling as well as maintaining relationships with established accounts
  • Represent the BCR Vision, Mission, and Values - Promote the company brand in the marketplace
  • Conduct thorough roof inspections and assessments to accurately estimate project costs
  • Execute daily activities to ensure your sales pipeline has adequate opportunities to meet sales goal
  • Perform duties as assigned
