We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vegetation Manager to help lead our Vegetation Management (VM) efforts, working alongside a dedicated team to support long-term initiatives and improve safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
Position Overview :
As the Vegetation Manager , you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of Vegetation Management (VM) initiatives across transmission rights-of-way, substations, and facilities. Your work will focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external contractors and stakeholders to mitigate wildfire risk and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
What You’ll Do :
Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and implement long-term VM strategies across our service territory.
- Manage VM activities based on regional vegetation types and environmental needs.
- Set performance targets in collaboration with District Managers, Crew Foremen, and VM contractors.
- Lead technology adoption and process improvements within the VM program.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly administrative duties related to VM operations.

What You’ll Bring :
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in utility vegetation management or a related field. At least 5 years of management experience is preferred.
