As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure that the dental office runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols for medical imaging.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a general dentistry setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of two years in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Open Dental Software is a plus.
- Understanding of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members. Bilingual is a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the workplace.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
