What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equine Veterinary Receptionist - Navasota position at Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals?
Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals, Navasota PLLC has an immediate opening on our team for a motivated individual to help us care for horses and clients. We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70 team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with our veterinary staff and hospital technicians. Horse experience is required.
Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. Computer skills are a requirement. This is a busy and interactive position that will require communication and teamwork skills.
Duties include (but are not limited to)
- Answer phones
- Schedule in-clinic, ambulatory, and emergency appointments
- Organize doctor's schedules daily
- Serve as advocate for clients
- Manage paperwork
- Data entry
- Multi task
- Be able to handle multiple forms of communication simultaneously.
This position is supported by veterinarians, office manager, lead technician, receptionists, hospital technicians, laboratory and pharmacy manager along with part time office and technical staff. This position will work in the Navasota office. We offer medical and retirement benefits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
