What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Laborer position at BRB Contractors, Inc?
*Valid Driver's License required!
Tasks:
75 % Actual physical trade work including efficiently loading trucks, effectively unloading trucks and placing material in pre-designated areas. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion.
20% Housekeeping, which includes yard organization, dispose of any trash accumulated in the yard and stored material stacked safely and appealing to the public. Work is reviewed.
5% Miscellaneous tasks include maintaining a safety conscious work environment and other tasks specified by management.
Abilities:
· Forklift experience preferred.
· Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
· Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
· Ability to care for the tools and equipment of the trade.
· Ability to plan shipping loads efficiently, unload and store materials in an organized manner.
· Ability to effectively work and communicate with other associates.
· Ability to lift 70 pounds required.
· Ability to work in all weather conditions
