Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Land Asset Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring all land management systems are current and accurate, and maintaining the integrity of critical land data. The Land Asset Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to support efficient operations, track project progress, and ensure seamless communication between internal stakeholders and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management & Data Integrity:
- Maintain land management systems to ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Regularly audit systems for data discrepancies or missing information, taking corrective actions as needed.
Data Entry & Analysis:
- Input and update land-related data, including project details, contractor reports, and other relevant information.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in land management processes.
- Prepare reports for management, summarizing project statuses, land usage, and data accuracy.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Ensure that all land project documentation is organized, complete, and properly archived.
- Generate reports related to land status, project milestones, and data integrity for leadership.
- Ensure that all vendor agreements, permits, and other legal documents are maintained accurately within the system.
Collaboration & Support:
- Provide ongoing support to internal teams (e.g., project managers, legal, operations) to ensure data requirements and project needs are met.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to land data or system functionality and work with the relevant departments to resolve them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Geography, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in land management, project coordination, or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of land management systems and database management.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with contractors and vendors in a project management capacity.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and other land mapping tools.
- Knowledge of land use regulations and industry best practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office environment for extended periods.
- Occasional travel to field locations may be required.
