Job Summary:
As a Solar Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of the green energy revolution. You'll guide clients through the transition to a fully electrified lifestyle, designing and implementing comprehensive systems that include solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, and advanced energy management solutions like bidirectional wiring.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Take leads and convert them into qualified solar & electrification customers through prospecting, presentations, and proposal development.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer's property suitability for solar panel installation, including evaluating factors like roof size, sun exposure, and shading.
- Oversee the entire solar project lifecycle, from initial sales contact to project completion and customer handover.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and excellent post-installation service.
- Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with engineers, electricians, installers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Secure necessary permits and approvals from local authorities with the help of our admin.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and address customer concerns throughout the installation process.
- Technical Skills:
- Design and size solar energy systems, considering factors like microinverters, string inverters, battery storage options, and whole home electric vehicle (EV) charger integration.
- Be familiar with the technical specifications and benefits of microinverters and string inverter systems for solar panel installations.
- Possess a strong understanding of solar battery storage systems, including different battery types, capacities, and their applications in solar energy systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in solar technology, including whole home electrification and EV charger integration.

Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the residential & commercial solar industry or related fields, with a demonstrated interest in whole-home electrification.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical systems, energy management principles, and emerging technologies like EV charging and bidirectional wiring.
- Sales Success: Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in the energy sector or related fields.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate the benefits of whole-home electrification to diverse audiences.
- NABCEP Certification (Preferred): North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certification or equivalent.
