What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver/Utility Worker position at Brea Olinda Unified School District?
Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Maintenance, Operations, & Transportation or designee, drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to assigned locations along designated routes; assure safety of vehicle by performing daily safety inspections and cleaning duties; picks up and delivers food, equipment, materials, and supplies; performs general custodial work. Assists grounds and maintenance personnel; and other related duties as assigned. Mission Statement:

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of experience driving a motor vehicle with one year driving a public bus.
LICENSES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Valid California Class B commercial driver’s license with passenger and air brake endorsements
* Valid California School Bus Driver Certificate.
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency.
* Must pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment screening.
