Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, perform a variety of complex and responsible secretarial duties to assure smooth and efficient school office operations and to relieve the high school Principal of administrative detail; serve as secretary to the Principal and coordinate communications between administrators, District and site personnel, parents, students and general public.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Any combination equivalent to : graduation from high school supplemented by college level course work in secretarial science or related field.
- Three years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience involving public contact.

Location : Brea Olinda High School
Hours : 8.0 hours / day, 7 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m.
5 days / week, Monday - Friday
12.0 months / year
Sick leave and vacation are earned on a prorated basis at a rate of one day per month.
California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states : "Voluntary transfer / promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee." Article VI, 6.3.2 states : "When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees."
