We're looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at our Boiceville Bakery. This role is central to our Sanitation Department, which is responsible for cleaning and receiving across our entire Boiceville campus. As the Person in Charge (PIC) for your shift, you'll be responsible for keeping things running efficiently—ensuring your team is staffed appropriately, hitting productivity goals, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards throughout the facility and its grounds.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead and support your team through hands-on guidance and example
- Ensure all daily sanitation tasks are completed to standard
- Maintain and improve sanitation and safety protocols across the facility
- Oversee receiving operations for the Boiceville campus
- Communicate clearly with other supervisors and the Manager on Duty
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product, equipment, or the team
- Hold yourself and your team accountable to Bread Alone’s safety and conduct policies
- Document and escalate any issues to your manager when needed

Hours: The hours of operation are Monday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–3:30 AM. Standard working hours are 40 hours per week. Work schedules are designed to be flexible, with adjustments made as needed based on project demands and department needs. Employees may have rotating shifts, staggered start times, or flexible hours to accommodate workload variations while maintaining efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure safe, efficient, high quality operation of assigned station(s)
- Have a full knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively all guidelines for safe and efficient operation of the station under your supervision
- Create sustainability in our job environment through collaboration with your teammates in achieving our goals
- This is an active, hands-on role focused on maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. You'll be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Actively and immediately communicate any possible delays or product quality issues to managers in your department
- Responsible for proper, safe equipment operation, including calibration, routine maintenance and routine troubleshooting as set by managers and training materials
- Ensure proper use of PPE by the Sanitation team and any other employees assisting in or impacted by Sanitation processes.
- Must be trained, following all required safety protocols, in the use of the warehouse forklift, electric pallet jack, etc., in order to organize the warehouse at all times
- Provide feedback to managers and training department on areas of our protocols and training guidelines that need improvement
- Ensure that you and any professionals assigned to your station are following the break schedule. Communicate with your MOD regarding any need for adjustments based on workflow as necessary
- Organize and delegate tasks as needed to any professionals assigned to your station
- Listen to team members, provide feedback to manager on any issues and seek support when necessary
- Coach and encourages team members to perform according to Bread Alone rules but defer any corrective or disciplinary action to their manager
- Report to any issues to the MOD that arise that are outside supervisor responsibilities
- And all other duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time while executing tasks quickly and accurately
- Able to to work in a physically demanding fast-paced environment
- Able to tolerate exposure to high levels of heat and cold
- Able to twist and bend repeatedly for long periods of time

- Able to carry awkward and shifting weights up to 50 pounds in a safe and controlled manner
- Able to work with, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products in a safe manner according to Bread Alone guidelines
- Able and willing to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assigned uniform as required per company policy
- Willing to follow all safety guidelines set out by Bread Alone
- Willing to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices which includes but are not limited to: Removing any visible or exposed piercings and body jewelry, personal accessories, false nails & refraining from makeup at work (ie. mascara or heavy foundation, lipstick)
- Willing to take responsibility for your own and others safety by following all safety rules and regulations and reporting any unsafe conditions to your manager
- The Bakery is open 365 days a year and team members must be willing to work consistently throughout the year which includes holidays and weekends
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Compensation: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
