Job Summary
The Capability Enablement team provides two distinct functions to the organization. We partner with other areas of the organization and our brand partners to implement capabilities as well as provide ongoing support for many capabilities once they are up and running on an ongoing basis. The Advisor role will work in both areas to implement capabilities; as well as being responsible for leading and providing direction, solutions, and education for all capabilities. Examples of day-to-day ownership functions include executing and managing relationships, completing deliverables timely and with accuracy, helping to discover and define the problem statement, evaluating the solution options, and making recommendations. The Advisor executes and influences the creation of detailed reporting and process improvements. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team and organization, creates training and process documentation, leads onboarding of new areas of responsibility to the team, and facilitates training to team and business partners.
Essential Job Functions:
Process Management: Actively participates in the execution of the processes related to their capability or service. Serves as primary contact for questions or inquiries including problem investigation and resolution. Supports the organization in the design of solutions to meet the stated need. Actively participates in meetings with internal and external partners. Enhances our current processes to better suit our clients’ needs.
Project Management: Consults as capability SME with brand partners, client partnership teams, technology teams as well as other teams across the organization to ensure capabilities are implemented according to requirements and best practices. Leads exploratory efforts and the investigation of new issues, programs, projects, products, verticals, and processes. Leads implementation efforts for both new and existing business clients and capability development efforts as the capability SME. Indirectly leads Senior Analyst and Specialist roles when paired on complex projects.
Problem-Solving: Actively evaluates and makes recommendations to current processes and procedures for improvements and efficiencies. Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work with ambiguity. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions appropriately.
Documentation/Quality Assurance: Strong written and verbal communication skills are used to execute the audit and quality assurance processes for materials and/or capability. Leads and designs the execution of documentation needs and quality assurance processes for their area of responsibility. Ensures quality and timing meet expectations from the business. Provides guidance in the creation, maintenance and completion of reporting.
Relationship Management: Actively conducts meetings with both internal and external partners to build trust and rapport with minimal guidance. Becomes the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the capabilities, processes and procedures that are needed to execute and support job responsibilities. Acts as a mentor for members of the team.
Risk Management: Solves problems and executes on risk and resolution plans for the supported capability or service. Applies forecasting techniques under minimal guidance to ensure tasks are being executed as expected. Actively participates in risk management activities.
Business Perspective and Team Building: Maintains business perspective and contributes to building a high-performing and positive team atmosphere. Leads knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure the team is aware of new initiatives and upcoming impacts.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment, some travel may be required.
This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; Plano, TX; Draper, UT; Wilmington, DE, or New York, NY.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
5 years experience in Financial Services Industry, Operations, or Retail Industry Experience
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or equivalent experience
8 years in Financial Services Industry or Retail Industry Experience; Hands-on experience with credit products; Hands-on experience with client implementations of products, capabilities or services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external partners, at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Mindset for continuous improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Adobe, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$97,900.00 - $177,400.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $112,600.00 - $221,800.00Colorado: $97,900.00 - $186,300.00New York: $107,700.00 - $221,800.00Washington: $102,800.00 - $204,000.00Maryland: $102,800.00 - $195,200.00Washington DC: $112,600.00 - $204,000.00Illinois: $97,900.00 - $195,200.00New Jersey: $112,600.00 - $204,000.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
