Job Summary
The Product Owner of Data Platforms will drive the planning and product delivery of our emerging Customer 360 data strategy. This role will join the Platform & Capabilities team to drive the product delivery and execution across our data products with a focus on unified customer platform capabilities inclusive of identity resolution and master data management. As a Product Owner, this role will be responsible for partnering closely across the business and the product and technology teams to manage the growth and scale of our data platforms.

$87,900.00 - $159,200.00

California: $101,000.00 - $198,900.00
Colorado: $87,900.00 - $167,100.00
New York: $96,600.00 - $198,900.00
Washington: $92,200.00 - $183,000.00
Maryland: $92,200.00 - $175,100.00
Washington DC: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00
Illinois: $87,900.00 - $175,100.00
New Jersey: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00
Vermont: $87,900.00 - $159,200.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.

- Build, prioritize, and maintain a clear, comprehensive product backlog for data solutions. Be the voice for the business/consumer and ensure their needs are met in balance with funding and timing. - (30%)
- Understand strategic vision and performs in a highly collaborative environment requiring regular communication with business stakeholders, developers, architects, operations and other product teams. - (30%)
- Distills high-level requirements and easy-to-understand user stories that enable the development team to know what problems need to be solved. - (25%)
- Iterate, pilot, and analyze user data and feedback from stakeholders to investigate whether product enhancements are driving user value and how to iteratively improve the solution. - (15%)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience working as a technical product owner / manager associated with data and/or analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Technology / Computer Science or related field of study
