Expected Start Date : February 3, 2025 - April 30, 2025
The Seasonal Food Team Members are responsible for the distribution of food during our Holiday Helpings season. This role is essential to the success of the program and ensuring that our neighbors have access to high quality food. The Seasonal Role is a flexible role whose responsibilities could change each day based on the needs of the program, but will include moving inventory, breaking down boxes and trash removal, working with community members to choose their groceries and supporting volunteers. This position will be full-time 8-4 Monday - Friday.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Distribute food in an efficient and equitable manner.
- Assist in all aspects of food distribution and be available to work in any area as needed

Requirements :
Drivers License preferred;
Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese or Amharic preferred;
Ability to work with limited supervision;
Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced work environment that centers community experience;
Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly; 50lbs occasionally;
Ability to stand for up to 9 hours;
Ability to work with a diverse staff and community;
Familiarity with non-profit work, public benefit programs and knowledge of hunger and poverty;

Commitment to working with and for people experiencing food insecurity;
Ability to work in a professional and collaborative manner, alongside volunteers and staff;
Must be fully vaccinated;
Must stay up to date on vaccination requirements;
