Counter Person

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Person to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to cafés, bakeries As a Counter Person, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
• Operate the Aloha POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
• Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, especially in cafés or quick service fast food restaurants.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of culinary practices is beneficial but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with others in the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
