Position Overview: As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in various areas of cybersecurity, from event analysis and incident response to penetration testing and security assessments.
Note: Position is flexible - some in-office may be required, work from home is an option. We have offices in 4 states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, triage, and escalate security events as needed
- Investigate security events and provide actionable insights
- Participate in incident response engagements, offering oversight and expertise on security events
- Engage in penetration testing exercises to identify vulnerabilities and improve security posture
- Contribute to security assessment engagements for clients, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT field
- At least 2 years of experience in IT security-related roles
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Server products
- Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Firewall and router principals
- Virtualization technologies
- Understanding the OSI model and security principles
