We are a high-volume, popular bar in Midtown with an unusual and exciting experience for our customers. We are seeking a passionate and experienced manager to join our team as Assistant General Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to a dynamic and growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all team members.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns and exceeding expectations.
- Oversee inventory management, receiving, and controlling stock levels.
- Manage costs and expenses, maximizing profitability.
- Maintain the bar's cleanliness and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting and financial reporting.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage all check lists for staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Solid understanding of bar operations, including inventory management, cost control, and POS systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Marketing is huge plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:
We designed this roll to make around $75,000 and upwards to $110,000. Base salary is $60,000 plus quarterly performance bonuses.
