ABOUT THE ROLE
As the National Promotions Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, recruiting, training, guiding, and coordinating a team of enthusiastic and dynamic college ambassadors to promote our organization or brand on college campuses effectively. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative promotional campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in creating and implementing impactful marketing, social, and promotion strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, and a passion for engaging with students.
The National Promotions Coordinator will report to the National Promotions Manager and will work closely with other members of the marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit college ambassadors from diverse campuses that are passionate about music and the music industry.
- Screen and select candidates based on their ability to promote successfully and attitude to learn more about Breakaway.
- Coordinate with college campuses and student organizations to identify potential ambassadors.
- Design and conduct comprehensive training programs for ambassadors to equip them with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ambassadors to ensure their success in promoting the Breakaway brand.
- Foster a sense of community and collaboration among ambassadors through regular meetings and events on campus.
- Develop strategic plans and objectives for the college ambassador program in alignment with the Breakaway Brand.
- Collaborate with marketing and social teams to create campaigns and initiatives that leverage the strengths of college ambassadors to assist with brands and sponsors.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of ambassador activities and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing and social team to create compelling promotional materials, including advertising campaigns, social media content, promotional merch and banners, and strategic promo events.
- Monitor and track budgets and spend within markets while adapting new strategies to create better budget models.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for college ambassadors, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key leaders, including college administrators, student leaders, and campus organizations.
- Communicate regularly with ambassadors to disseminate important information, updates, and resources.
- Ensure that ambassadors accurately represent Breakaway’s brand values, messaging, and image at all times.
- Monitor ambassador activities and content to maintain brand consistency and compliance with guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for brand exposure and engagement on college campuses through ambassador-led initiatives.
