Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Site Superintendents / Project Managers to lead ground-up construction projects for several companies in Western New York. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in overseeing construction projects from the foundation to the final build, managing subcontractors, and collaborating with architects. Strong leadership skills and the ability to read blueprints and project documentation are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee ground-up construction projects, including laying concrete foundations and building with wood or metal framing.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Review and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and all relevant documentation.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain communication with company management and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements:
- Experience in ground-up construction, including concrete foundation work and wood/metal frame building, is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or site supervision (10 years of experience preferred for top salary).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, project documentation, and technical specifications.
- Proven track record of managing subcontractors and collaborating with architects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
Compensation:
- Salary range from $75,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and the hiring company’s evaluation.
