Leasing Manager, Policies and Procedures
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Leasing and Compliance, the Leasing Manager, Policies and Procedures maintains a repository for leasing-specific policies and procedures and is responsible for tracking compliance; providing in-person, leasing-specific training; and communicating policy and procedure updates to Leasing staff. The Manager standardizes and sustains leasing-specific onboarding of Leasing employees.
This position is hybrid requiring three days on site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Directors and the Leasing Controller to create onboarding and training Leasing-specific curriculum
Facilitate in-person, Leasing-specific onboarding for new hires including training to use Housing Connect 2
Partner with the Directors and Leasing Controller to develop and facilitate in-person training sessions for Leasing staff on new policies and procedures as needed
Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of leasing-specific onboarding and trainings
Act as a department-level system administrator of organizational Learning Management System. Partner with the Senior Director, Organizational Development for guidance and direction with training implementations
Maintain training records and professional licenses in Learning Management System (Relias) and communicate with staff to support compliance with training requirements
Remain up to date with laws, regulations, and industry standards governing affordable and supportive housing programs
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum two years of experience screening supportive and affordable applicants for eligibility
Experience training others in a professional environment
Proficiency with Housing Connect 2.0
Demonstrated skills in developing and facilitating trainings on policies and protocols
Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) certification required
Fair Housing certification required. Obtaining certification within first year of employment required
Experience working with homeless or low-income populations preferred
Detail oriented and organized
Superior writing and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams; Adobe Acrobat
